*a little wish* began informally in 2000 when victims of post pregnancy hysterectomy began finding each other.
*a little wish* website (post pregnancy hysterectomy) was set up by Anna Shaw in 2002 for many reasons.
-To offer other victims support and to know they are not alone.
-To offer our experiences to others to allow them to make informed decisions most of us were denied.
*a little wish* gathers information and research to help others avoid our situation. Many people have been told that they NEED a cesarean, however, after reading some case studies they have questioned this, and many have avoided the knife.
*a little wish* is trying to compile the statistics for post pregnancy hysterectomy as there is NO legal requirement to declare them, and no central place correlating them. They SHOULD be easily available due to the freedom of information, however hospitals are declining to release them!
*a little wish* is a growing caring community, we support people in many different situations.
