Case Studies

This has two sections, post pregnancy hysterectomies and planned hysterectomies.

We sincerely thank all of those that have taken time to assist with compiling these case studies.

They will hopefully allow others to make a more informed decision and have a healthier happier endings ... or rather beginnings ...  :)

This section gives a summary of information that each person has offered. The account / case study is how they came to be in this position. A lot of people call them stories however sometimes this brings ideas of something being made up. *a little wish*  would hope none of our accounts / case studies are made up. Some of the people *a little wish*  knows very well and *a little wish*  has seen copies of their notes, for others this is not possible. *a little wish*  would hope any information on here is treated with the utmost respect. Anna remembers when she first gave out her 'birth story' to the radical midwives, she was SO scared to hit the send key due to all she had been put through.

The questionnaire contains lots of questions that we hope will allow us to start compiling statistics and to allow others to feel 'normal'.  This questionnaire is constantly evolving. *a little wish*  discovered only the other day that some very obvious questions were missing.

The journey of further children will hopefully give hope to some. At the moment *a little wish*  do not know anyone that has completed their family after this event. *a little wish* hopes that by branching out into surrogacy and sharing fertility that we may assist families to grow, and sometimes help to complete a family.
